Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, otherwise known as MEWP, are often used on constructions sites, in warehouses or where mobile access to height is needed. They lift or lower people, equipment and materials by a telescopic, hinged or articulated device.

Trainingworx is a HIANZ Silvercard EWP accredited training company. We are one of the few companies to offer full on the site training.

MEWP Training course prices & duration –
Our course prices and course duration depends on how many MEWP machines your team want to be trained on. We give you the option to choose from:
• Scissor lift (US 23960)
• Knuckle boom (US 23962)
• Cherrypicker (US 23963)
• Vertical Lifts (US 23964)
• Truck Mounted Boom (US 23961)
You can either choose one machine or a combination of machines.

Participant numbers –
The minimum number of participants on a course is 3, with a maximum of 8. Please contact us if your requirements fall outside these numbers.
What’s included in the courses –
All the courses includes a compulsory Theory and Legislation unit standard – 23966.
Each course will be covering practical assessment on your selected MEWP machines. Note machines must be on site prior to course commencement.
Validity of licenses -
On successful completion of courses, participants are issued with MEWP licenses which are valid for 3 years.
Refresher courses can be sat within 3 months past the expiry on their existing licenses. Refresher courses will be applied with discounted prices.
Time/ Duration –
Our MEWP Courses start at 7.30am in the morning and half day courses finish around 12 o’clock. Full day courses finish around 2.30pm – 3.00pm depending on number of participants in the class.
